Take The Time To Care.

All too often we are caught up in our own issues to notice that others may need your help.

It takes two minutes to stop and talk to someone, to remark on how well they are looking, what a nice dress they are wearing or how great their hair looks. Simple things but all things that go towards increasing confidence and self esteem.

Sometimes just taking a moment to touch their arm, to generate positivity to them through touch can help lift their mood, bring a smile to their face and make the day seem just that little bit better.

The next time you see someone that looks down or in need of a little interaction, just take a moment, the smile you see on their face as you leave them will give you both the gift of positive energy, and with positive energy we can achieve so much.

Make People Smile!

Today lets make it a personal goal to make other people smile, even better, make them laugh.

There is so much doom and gloom around and yet if we can smile or laugh we can release chemicals in our system which will give us a natural high and therefore equip us better to deal with any problems.

Seeing a smiling face will instantly give you a high, make the effort to say ´hello´or ´morning´to as many people as you can, it is a completely natural thing to do here in Spain, and I know when I return to the UK that people tend to look at you as if you have lost your mind when you say ´hello´but to make a difference we have to start the change. Smile, say hi, and see how many smiles you get back. Give people a lift when you meet them by commenting on their appearance, remark on new hair styles, clothes anything, all this builds peoples confidence and therefore their self esteem. They then in turn begin to smile at others and spread the happiness.

It costs nothing, it takes a moment, but it makes a huge difference to you and everyone else!

Put A Smile On Your Face!

I saw this today whilst scouring through the tons of miserable news and instantly felt lifted so I wanted to share it with you.


In the Straits of Gibraltar, the gateway to the Mediterranean, a group of Pilot Whales were swimming past when they noticed the camera. Not wishing to miss an opportunity one stopped to show his best side, looking at his reflection in the camera to be sure that they had the right shot, and indeed they did.

At 3 tons and 20 foot long he certainly has pressence and whilst they have been known to grab a diver by their leg and drag them to the bottom if they feel threatened, they have also been known to do the reverse, pulling people up from the bottom of the ocean, so as well as being absolutely stunning, great in front of the camera they are also, it would seem, very good judges of character!

I just love him, he makes me smile and what else can you ask for?
